Hi Penguins!

Thank you all SO much for your patience while we worked on squashing those pesky bugs that hitched a ride with the launch of our Fashion Festival.

The team's been working super hard, and we've managed to squash most of them so far! GO TEAM :D

NOW... Are you ready to party?! I thought so.

There's still time to get your outfits in before the first round of voting ends -- time to get styling!

Club Penguin: Top 5 Facts About Herbert!

Written by: || Tags: 0 | Comment(s)
He's tried to destroy Club Penguin, has a crabby sidekick and is the biggest rival of the EPF. Here is the top FIVE facts on the infamous supervillain Herbert P. Bear.

Herbert's favourite type of pizza is seaweed pizza.

The mysterious "Yeti Penguin" in the April 1, 2010 newspaper was indeed Herbert in a yeti costume. It's eerily close how close the tour guide penguin got to him.

His full name is Herbert Percival Bear, Esquire.

Herbert was born in the Arctic Circle, and hated the cold, so travelled South to find warmth. His iceberg drifted in the wrong direction, leading to him discovering Club Penguin Island.

In November 2012, during Operation: Blackout, Herbert hijacked the island and renamed all the catalogs to suit him. He renamed the Penguin Style catalogs to 'Herbert Style'

So, that concludes my top 5 facts about Club Penguin's Herbert. What do you think?

This is the Club Penguin Dot tracker for the 2015 Fashion Festival. We are tracking Dot the Design Gal in August 2015. Dot, also known as Dot the Disguise Gal and Agent D on Club Penguin, is visiting for the first time on the island! She is appearing for the Fashion Festival for this year on the island. She can be found waddling across CP with our tracker that you can access below. When you meet Dot you can pick up her giveaway background and brag to all your friends that you met her!

Who is Dot?
Dot is a mascot on Club Penguin, involved with the EPF (Elite Penguin Force). Her full alias, Dot the Disguise Gal, describes her role in the EPF and also her identity on the island. She is appearing at this month's party in a disguise as a fashion designer on the island. You will be able to find Dot on the island using our techniques here, with 100% accuracy.

What does she look like?
Dot has an unobtainable penguin color, it is a light purple color. The color cannot be seen anywhere else on the island, and is commonly mistaken for lavender although it is not. Dot has a bun hairstyle, a teal dress with a teal puffle handbag, and various jewellery assortments. Her playercard and in game penguin can be seen below.

Dot the Design Gal's appearance.

How can I find her?
Using our tracker, you will be able to find Agent D on the island. When we find her, the room is usually full of penguins wanting to meet her and it may be hard to click her playercard. Dot has some memorable quotes that she may say during her stay, so you can identify her easier. Here is some of the transcript the character has been known to say.

"They don't call me the Disguise Gal for nothing, you know!"

Club Penguin's Fashion Festival 2015 has arrived! It launched on the CP island TODAY and will finish on September 9 this year. This has been planned for a long time, and we've been building up to it, with the biggest catalog ever (Penguin Style), the first appearance of Dot the Design Gal on the island for the first time, and I'm sure you've noticed the hype and preparation splattered across the Club Penguin blog and in the newspapers recently.

Are you ready to become a fashion SUPERSTAR? Then let's dive right in to the Fashion Festival 2015 cheats guide!

First, when you enter the island, you will be greeted with this log-in screen, it's animated and looks super cool. The blue hearts are actually emotes we can use at the party.

The basic premise of the Fashion Festival is to dress up! So when you're in, click the purple badge at the top of your screen to get started!

Your Fashion Portfolio will show up, dress up and submit your costumes.

There are 3 challenges on the island right now, they are all involved with fashion: Everything Squid, Animal Kingdom and Gold and Graceful.

Head to the Dock for Everything Squid. The challenge is to show off your squiditude in as many ways as possible. So dress up and submit your penguin!

For the Animal Kingdom challenge, go to the Forest.

And for Gold and Graceful, go to the Snow Forts to submit.

There will be 3 NEW challenges on August 29th, so come back then to see how to enter. You have only 3 days, good luck guys! Make sure to have a great time at the party, ya'll!

How to SURF on Club Penguin 2015

Written by: || Tags: 0 | Comment(s)
Club Penguin have released their newest fashionable party on the island, and the rooms are rockin' and the penguins a-flockin' to come check it out.

If you head to the Plaza and click on the buoy with the arrow on the bottom left of your screen, you can go to a special room where your penguin can SURF in real time! It looks just like Catchin' Waves but waay more animated Gnarly.

I like how CP made the particular song for the room in the style of 'surf music'... very fitting Disney, very fitting. Are you guys loving this party or what?!

Megg has published a new POTW (Penguin of the Week) on the official Club Penguin blog. This week's winner is 'Galaxyswag', as nominated by Dustyrose16!

"I would like to nominate Galaxyswag for penguin of the week. She helped me feel better when I was sad. We hang out all the time so I won't be alone. When I was new to this game, she taught me how to play the game. She also taught me some fashion advice. So that's why I would like to nominate Galaxyswag."

Congratulations, Galaxyswag! You have won 10,000 coins and the POTW background!

11 Club Penguin Facts You Probably Didn't Know

Written by: || Tags: 0 | Comment(s)
So you think you know Club Penguin? Well, you may... but do you know these 11 Club Penguin facts?

Let's put your knowledge to the test. I have been surfing the internet to find some interesting facts and information about the famous MMORPG that has changed the world since 2005. The legitimacy for some of the CP claims that you find on the web are questionable, but I've looked through all of them and it seems that they are all accurate, so no worries. Let's get on with the Club Penguin facts you probably didn't know, shall we?

    1) The first red puffle was discovered on Rockhopper Island, and was named Yarr by the island's very own Captain Rockhopper. He is still alive and well to this day!

    2) The most decorated party of all time was the 2012 Holiday Party.

    3) Club Penguin did not advertise at all until they were bought by Disney―it was all simply word of mouth. Their first TV ad, "Disney - Club Penguin" aired for the first time in December 2011.

    4) The theme song for the popular mini-game Thin Ice was created by former Club Penguin moderator, Screenhog.

    5) Club Penguin was originally going to be to launched in 2010. Thank goodness the date was changed to five years earlier!

    6) The first original Club Penguin party, excluding the Beta Test Party, was the Halloween Party of 2005.

    7) There were no free items during the 2005 Halloween Party, and only two decorated rooms. Boring! But luckily, the game knew what it lacked, and free items and other interesting features were added in later parties.

    8) On July 13, 2011, the membership prices were officially raised to $7.95 a month, $39.95 for 6 months and $59.95 for 12 months. This would be the first time the game would alter their membership prices.

    9) Club Penguin's original newspaper design took over 100 hours to make, due to only ONE artist working on it and the complex design.

    10) The Christmas Tree pin from December 14, 2006 was the first pin to cost money! It cost 50 coins and it was not found on the island, only the newspaper, dubbed Penguin Times at the time.

    11) And finally... Club Penguin have had a grand total of five different logos from October 2005 - present, and only one logo in a different language: Russian!

    Club Penguin Inactive Account Removal

    Written by: || Tags: 0 | Comment(s)
    The official Club Penguin help page on the Disney Interactive Support website states that they do indeed remove accounts that are inactive for a certain amount of time, so make sure that if you haven't logged in for some time, don't abandon your penguin.

    The websites official text says:
    Once you've activated your account, make sure you log in every few months so it stays active! Free accounts will be removed if you don't log in for 1 year, and member accounts will be removed after 2 years.

    If you created your free account at, it will be automatically deleted from our system if the account isn't activated within 10 days after it's created. If you created your account on the Club Penguin app, it will be automatically deleted after a year if it's never been activated.

    I'd assume that there is an exception for beta penguins/former moderators and such. However, you must be careful to keep your penguin alive if you decide to quit or venture off into another game. Waddle on!

    Club Penguin Exclusive: Dojo in the PLAZA?

    Written by: || Tags: 0 | Comment(s)
    Hey guys! So some interesting news, former Club Penguin moderator Rocketsnail, also known as Rsnail or his real name Lance Priebe was doing a Q & A about ninjas on his Twitter earlier, and questions were flooding in. He tweeted, about an hour ago, "Working on my blog post about the history of ninja penguins. Here is the original concept for the Dojo.", followed by this image.

    Isn't that crazy? Obviously we know the Dojo actually resides atop the many mountains in Club Penguin, and was made a usable room in 2008 during the 'Dig out the Dojo' project. Before that, many penguins used to have snowballs fights and such in it. There was really no use for it.

    The image shown above is very very old, even before puffles were created, as you can tell from the Pet Shop. There is a dog instead of a puffle for the sign and the various posters across the window are to do with real-life pets. So I wonder, if the Dojo was moved to the Plaza instead, would Card-Jitsu ever of happened, what would the Dojo been used for?

    Megg has just posted to the Club Penguin blog. She's made a new post titled: September 2015 Party Announcement! In this post she announces that the Descendants movie will have it's own party on Club Penguin. Descendants is a 2015 TV movie created by Disney. The summary for the film is below.

    "In present-day Auradon, Ben, the teenaged son of King "Beast" and Queen Belle, is poised to take the throne. He offers a chance for redemption to the trouble-making teenaged descendants of defeated villains exiled to the remote Isle of the Lost. The villains' descendants have been granted permission to attend prep school in the kingdom with the Disney heroes' kids." (Credit to IMDB).

    Megg said "Ever since its release, we've had A TON of players contact us and ask for a Descendants Party. Well, we watched the movie and agree—it'll be awesome to bring Auradon Prep to the island!"

    Tato Maxx's 3 Years of Blogging Party Review!

    Written by: || Tags: 1 | Comment(s)
    Hey penguins! So one of the Spanish bloggers/moderators for Club Penguin named Tato Maxx held a party on the Spanish server Bahía rock to celebrate his 3 years of blogging for Club Penguin. What an achievement! Everyone ran to the Cove to meet him and it was a success. The party was meant to begin at 1PM PST but Tato didn't show up until 1:30PM, but he still came so that's what counts.

    Unfortunately everyone that seemed to be there just wanted the Hawaiian Lei, and didn't seem to acknowledge that the party was for his 3 years of blogging, but it was still a blast! We all showed the cake emote and smiled together.

    Here's a picture from when Tato Maxx first waddled into the room. He's standing by the fire.

    Look at everyone asking for the Red Lei!

    Here's a close-up I got of the moderator.

    Here we are with the cake and the smiley emotes!

    Despite the countless questions, Maxx did not hand out any items. Did you attend the party? Let me know!
